If by window calculator you mean calculating relative energy performance
you might also want to look at RETScreen.  This is short for Renewable
Energy Technology Screen.  For Windows you'd want the Passive Solar
Module.

I like the orientation by orientation approach as well as the world wide
weather data.  Some people may find the pervasive use metric challenging
