Perhaps a knowledgable professional (or two) should take a look at your
client's house before it becomes unhealthy.
Cheers,

One of my customers in Pipe Creek, Texas put this stuff around his new
house. They sure wrapped it tight. He has been living in the house just
over a year now and the walls of the house sweat. They had to paint the
interior walls with a mildew/mold resistant paint because of the moisture.
Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Subject: [GBlist] Tyvek and OSB
Hello all,
After the last discussion about housewraps, I wrote to the Tyvek Company
and asked them about how Tyvek and OSB react together.
This is their official response. Take it for what its worth.
Peace
Valle

Subject: inquiry
Dear Valle,
Your inquiry regarding compatibility of TyvekŪ and OSB resins was forwarded
to me. Regardless of who the manufacturer of the OSB is, the resin systems
used are composed of thermoset resins which become cured solids in the panel
manufacturing process. TyvekŪ is made of High Density Polyethylene, a
highly inert plastic that does not react with any of the components in these
resin systems since they are cured solids. The performance of TyvekŪ is not
adversely affected by coming in contact with any of these resins.
