Re: [GBlist] cistern sealing

I grew up in a Kentucky house with a cistern. In August it usually ran dry
and we cleaned out the algae and other growth. Each year by August it had
gotten pretty disgusting. All of our water for a family of five came from the
roof of a 2400 s.f. house. I lived in this house from 1935 to 1955. In 1952
we got city water.
