[GBlist] Low tech green roof

For many years we have been using Raven Industries 40 mil Rufco EX 40
linear low density polyethylene for our wastewater gardens. It has
withstood the attempts of bamboo rhizomes to puncture it and will not
degrade if not exposed to UV. While I know of no applications for green
roofs I know of no reason why it should not be used. The price is around
$0.29 per square foot plus freight from their nearest plant, say South
Dakota. The web site is http://www.ravenind.com and the toll-free number
is 800 635 3456.
