Re: [GBlist] staining concrete floors

I acid-stained a slab and it came out pretty well. The only problem was that when we waxed the finished floor it was milky and unsightly and we spent a day on our knees taking the wax off. Eventually I used a marine sealant on it which looked nice.

Subject: [GBlist] staining concrete floors

Hello everybody -

Has anybody had any experience with staining the concrete slab to produce a finished floor?

We have radiant tubing inside the slab, and would consider tiling, but would also consider simply staining the concrete.  Any advice?

Thanks, Karen Gros
