Alan- Check out the Rais line o f Danish wood burners (yes, it's a wood
burner and not a fireplace.. sorry..). Our "Mino" model, which is small and
curve fronted, will cook us out of our 1,000 sq ft timber frame SIP house on
a 20 degree day (and maintain 72 degrees on a 0 degree night..). Distributed
in the U.S. by Rais and Wittus of Pound Ridge NY. Cool stuff.
