[GBlist] How green is Provo, Utah?

I am considering a job near Provo, Utah, 45 minutes south of Salt Lake
City, and was wondering if any of you on this list live in that area or
know of any particularly green people/organizations there or how green the
culture is generally (in addition to being Mormon--I've figured that out
already). The job is an academic job in the geology department at Utah
Valley State College, and I hope, in addition to teaching the required
classes, to develop a program of research and elective teaching that
centers on energy issues and sustainabilty. My wife and I are also
interested in setting roots in a community that supports green building and
sustainable living. Could Provo be such a place?
