standard ceramiuc on an exterior horizontal surface is likely to 
expand/contract take on water if not for exterior use -- the guy in 
Philadelphia who does the great outdoor murals uses regular ceramic but on 
horizontal surfaces - he also uses cement mortar rather than grout    Linda
