RE: [GBlist] plea to reduce archive size

Along the same lines, a couple of additional suggestions...
- Please read all list emails before replying to any of them as your
answer/response may have already been given in an email you haven't read
yet, prefixing your email with "I haven't read all the responses yet"
wastes everyone's time as they still have to read your email to determine
if you're saying anything different.
- Determine if you want to reply to the whole group or just to the
individual, if you're agreeing with the person (and no one else on the list
has disputed what's being said), maybe its more appropriate to just reply
to the individual.
- When "replying to all" delete the individual sender's name from the
recipient list and use only the greenbuilding@crest.org address, otherwise
the original senders receive double copies (might not seem significant but
it can happen all the way through a thread so that the first senders can
receive a dozen duplicate emails).
Thanks muchly,
Brenda

Thank you for this suggestion, Amy
