[GBlist] Discussion Group Features

I'd like a much better search feature in the archives, an engine that could
search across the entire archive (not just by year).  There is a wealth of
information in the archive, and often questions that come up have been
addressed in depth previously.  Unfortunately it's often difficult to find
old posts, even when you know they exist, let alone when you're just on a
fishing expedition.
