SB: Allergies and Strawbale and Rammed-earth

Dear builders,

The presentation I gave to our building design committee on
rammed-earth and straw bale was quite successful. People were very
interested in the techniques for use in our new meeting house. One
question kept nagging them, however, allergies. They were convinced
that straw in "breathable" walls would adversely affect people
allergic to hay or would grow mold. They had similar concerns about
the dust they assumed would be shed from a rammed-earth wall. Does
anyone know of articles/studies/testimonies regarding allergenic
concerns about these types of construction?

Thanks in advance for your help.
