[GBlist] Zero heat / energy housing

Dear John

The AECB (England) journal Building for a Future Vol 11, No. 1 Summer 2001
had a couple of excellent articles on low energy housing standards. These
may (??list manager) appear in EBN as they often trade articles.

Here are some European examples, they use heat recovery ventilation
(sometimes with heat pumps for
domestic hot water), internal gains and sun as the heatng source. In
Germany there is an 80/20 split between heavyweight / lightweight
buildings.
