[GBlist] political discussion on this list/Afghanistan

I'm a bit surprised that by now no one has politely suggested that
political discussions do not belong on this list. So I am doing just that.
Some of what is currently being said about Afghanistan is shear nonsense
and in any case, would better be discussed on some list where the topic is
appropriate. When I see uneducated rants on various off-topics come up on
this greenbuilding list, I have to conclude that these listers, because of
the general ignorance they display in balderdash, could also not know much
about the subjects of our list. Because of this type of drivel we have
already lost some people who are truly knowledegeable and those of us who
are seriously interested in energy efficient building would hate to see
that continue to happen. There are many other lists where irrationality
can find full flower. Please go there.
