RE: [GBlist] Afgreenistan

Title: RE: [GBlist] Afgreenistan

> How else would they get the oil?

The vast majority of the oil is in the vicinity of the caspian sea. They are bringing it by pipeline from the caspian sea over to the black sea. Huge amounts of money have been spent for this. Because of political problems in azerbijan new pipelines are being built to the crimea.

Why on earth would anyone build a pipeline east, then south over the afghani mountains, then into another political hotspot- Pakistan?

There is no logic to this position.

In addition it is far easier to pipe the oil in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan across the steppes then to go over the mountains.

This is one conspiracy theory that simply doesn't hold any water.
