Re: [GBlist] burning wood, no heating

hello,
i'm wondering if the masonry heater is what the scandinavians built in their
homes traditionaly?
i seem to recall that it was a central stove that was surrounded by masonry?
or plaster? they cooked on it, in it and all four rooms of the house had one
corner touching it,
does this sound familiar?
if so could you tell me more?
any photos or drawings,
many thanks
