My version of this, in case it's useful to others, is that I have the
Eudora filters set up to turn the inbox headers into specific colors for
certain listserves or topics. (GBlist messages are, of course, set to
green.) That way I can still see everything in the Inbox, but separate out
the personal correspondence visually.
