Chris:  Please explain about cross-lamination and what
problems you experience as a result (I'm a layperson
and, sorry, I don't understand what problems you're
having with brittleness if the floor also wears like
iron).  I've read about bamboo floors and seen them at
a home show (they were beautiful), so I'm also
interested in them.  Thanks!
