it is far larger an issue than type of paint.
Yes, I know. This probably isn't the proper forum for such discussions, but
I just wanted to make sure we consider such things.
What characteristics would you say constitute an ideal green material?
If you think in ideal terms, then nothing does. Every bit of construction
or resourcing done has an impact on others. We are taking the energy
created by others. In my opinion the only thing to be done is to minimize
our impact as much as possible. I prefer such things as cob and strawbale
when appropriate. But, being new to the application of building, I don't
have a lot of practical experience. Most of my previous time was in the
theoretical and it's always better there.
