[GBlist] PCM's for solar thermal storage

group -- running into what I hope to be the final stages in the design of a passive solar earthbermed residence, I find myself again wondering if imbedding PCM's (phase change materials) in the slab &/or block wall surface treatment which will be storing solar energy is a worthwhile idea.

 

Any comments on actual in-the-field applications of this technology for this purpose would be EXTREMELY MUCH appreciated.
