((Relayed by Bion Howard. B.E.S.T. is a co-sponsor of this meeting))

Subject: Maryland's Green Building Conference
You heard it here first!
Here is the announcement you've all been waiting for -- The Maryland Green
Building Conference: Achieving Better Building in the Mid-Atlantic Region is
set! The Conference will be September 17-18 at the Baltimore Maritime
Institute. We have the agenda, registration materials, and all the
information you need up on the web. In fact, the Energy Institute has
on-line registration for your convenience. Please visit our web site to
either register or download all the details.
We are very excited and honored to have David Orr from Oberlin College and
Dennis Creech from the Southface Energy Institute as our Keynote Speakers.
They are both nationally recognized for not only promoting better building
and sustainability efforts, but also implementing and institutionalizing
their vision. In addition, we secured an A-list of speakers throughout the
region who will provide their insight and expertise. The #1 goal of the
Conference Steering Committee is to provide "must-know" information and
detailed examples to the building and development community...and we have
done just that!
If you are interested in exhibiting, there is an exhibitor
registration form on the web or you can contact me directly with your
questions. Third, please add our link to your web page and/or calendar of
events so we can get the word out to as many companies & markets as
possible.
This will truly be a wonderful event and a great opportunity. As always,
please let me know if there is anything I can provide or answer any
questions. Thanks so much and have a great day!
