[GBlist] ceiling fans and in-line ducts

Anyone familiar or have experience with:

1) Connecting 110V cooling thermostats and ceiling fans or in-line duct
fans?
    Wiring methods and specific brands of stats and in-line fans would help.

2) Countertops made from recycled material such as glass etc. available in
the Ontario area.
