Donna et-al,

Greenwashing - what corporations do when they want to convince people that
they have motives as important as their charter (short term profit
generation) - is becoming ever more common.  Renewable technologies, as they
are sexy and visible are tools in this trade.
Other, more fundamental strategies of being green, such as conserving
resources in the first place: driving less, buying less stuff, growing a
veggie garden, reusing materials, a healthy dose of frugality, are far more
influential than simply substituting power sources from coal to wind while
maintaining rates of consumption that exceed the rest of the industrialized
world by 1.5 to 20 times.

Sure, exposing the masses to the success of renewable energies is a good
thing but we need to remember what the real meaning of such a project is,
and it surely is not to be green.
Destiny USA is aimed at consumption, not the sustenance of anything.
Let's be sure to look through our designs and remember their intent and
their real influences.
