Re: [GBlist] underground lines vs. overhead

I guess someone needs to bring up a contrary statement .

I spent about ten years in very close (inches) proximity to megawatts
inside a submarine nuclear power plant. I was in a postion to know as a
supervisor and I never heard of anyone having adverse reaction to being in
such a position. In addition we were surrounded by higher frequency via
sonar, radar, and other systems.

I know there were some sailors killed by direct contact and electrocution.
The most dangerous thing in the service was close contact with motorcycles.
We did some experiments with full spectra lights which definitely helped
some of my team.

There have been a number of lawsuits in the civilian world regarding
exposure but I do not believe any cases were won.

Just my two cents worth,

John
