[GBlist] ENVIRONMENTAL REFRIDGERATORS / WOOD PRESERVATION

Does anyone have any information, knowledge, opinions on environmental
refridgerators and freezers. I have been to a few websites but have only
been able to find two kinds: "Sunfrost" which seemed very expensive and
"Conserv" which seemed more reasonable.....?

I also have a couple questions about wood preserving.

Do folks use linseed oil then a coating of beeswax? Are these substances
mixed together first (Beeswax melted then used in a solution with linseed
oil). What ratios? Is there some better method?

I am going to be doing various wooden projects around the house (from
preserving some shelves in the garage -to- trying to preserve cedar shakes
on the side of my strawbale garage) and was just looking for any info. or
websites.

Thanks,
Mike Bodak
