[GBlist] IRMA and green roofs

I like the concept of IRMA for green roofs, because it allows one to expose
roof structure, and to dodge the issue of condensation in the
(conventionally framed) roof cavity. However, I feel a little shaky on the
effectiveness of the insulation, and of rainwater filtering under the
floradrain (or eq).

can anyone comment on the placement of rigid foam insulation placed on the
weather surface of a roof membrane? would there be a great deal of heat
loss if a thin drainage plane (like Enkdrain) were placed between the
insulation and the membrane?

thanks in advance
