Robert, thank you for another viewpoint on Midway Labs
and their products.  Apparently I overreacted after reading
Doug Pratt's response, and as Ian and others pointed out,
Home Power Magazine doesn't (and can't possibly) review
all products advertised in their magazine, and they hadn't
reviewed Midway Labs.

As a lurker on the solar-concentrator list, I should also
have guessed the demise of Midway Labs, as there
have been recent posts on the topic of high concentration
(hundreds of suns) on normal cells and encapsulants.

Originally I was expecting some other answer, as I
thought they were using cells that could stand 250 suns
(ie, properly heatsinked, etc), and assembly techniques
that wouldn't degrade in the high temps.
