Certainly true. Overall, the thing should work. What bothers me so
much is the apparent perpetual motion claim, propagated by an
apparently ignorant reporter.
I asked my girlfriend, who I think is smart and thinks logically, to read
the article and tell me if she thought anything looked fishy. She thought
using the wind turbines while driving was a good idea, and was surprised
to hear my reasons why it is a bad idea. She says that in school, she
was never taught such things.
We have a society that would collapse without its continuous energy
supply. There is an increasingly apparent need to wean ourselves from
fossil fuels, while we have a voting public and press that are largely
ignorant of the most fundamental facts about how energy works. I
find this alarming.
