You may have a point Reuben ! The simplest place to start with energy
efficiency is the old tried and true Edison light buld (lamp). Replace with
compact florescents lamps AND fixtures, daylighting, or solar powered
lighting! After all, most houses have a boatload of inefficient lighting!
And lighting is something we use consitently once the old solar furance
disappears below the horizon!
I changed to compact florescent lighing in 1995 and still have not replaced
one bulb since. I put the dates on the bases of the bulbs so I know how old
they really are! I get a kick out of being at someones house and a light
bulb burns out.
