PV: Solar DHW

I am in the research phase, looking into solar DHW and wind.  My research 
is looking into what is the most cost effective solar DHW, what state 
programs are available, how much money will be needed, and what are my 
financing options.

So, for solar DHW, does anyone have any recomendations?
