That statement always gets me..........IT seems to me that when one goes to
buy a car that cost $10,000 (a Chevy) to $90,000 (a Mercedes) no one tells
the buyer that the car is "expensive". Yet when someone goes to buy a solar
electric system that cost what a car would cost them somehow the solar
system is "expensive" and the car isn't? This statement by the writer
continues to feed the absolute false impression that somehow that "solar
systems" are "expensive. Actually the reality is just the opposite. A car is
the "expensive" item when you take into consideration the amount of upkeep
on a typical car i.e. insurance, fuel, maintence, pollution, and dont' how
many lives are taken each year in auto accidents! Little is spent on the
ownership of a well designed, quality solar energy system of any type. Get a
grip................
