PV: PV RE: Who's really using pv?

Hello to all from scenic S.E. Oklahoma.

We have been using stand-alone pv for about seven years now - the preceding ten years having been spent without electricity of any kind.

We started small with pv and built up the system gradually. It presently consists of six Solarex 60's and four Solarex 80's, a Trace DR2412 inverter- yes - modified sine-wave WILL run some computers! - and eight Trojan L-16 HC batteries.

Passive solar heat is also used here in the form of big windows in south wall.

I have been watching this list since obtaining telephone service about three years ago (first phone in nearly 15 years!) but an unfortunate degree of computer illiteracy has prevented me from succesfully subscribing until now.

Regards
