PV: Solid Info for (Prospective) PV'ers

Greetings all
Sandia National Laboratories has done a lot of research on photovoltaics use, and have made tons of invaluable information available to the public free of charge at the following address:

My personal favorite is their "MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF STAND-ALONE PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS".
While this maintenance and troubleshooting guide deals with stand-alone systems only, it would be extremely useful to persons using any type of pv system whether or not they plan to do their own maintenance.

"STAND-ALONE PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS" is a handbook of recommended design practices that could lead to a more perfect understanding of what one is getting into with a pv system. Hybrid system or stand-alone.
The section on system availability - a seldom discussed topic - could save lots of money and heartache for prospective pv'ers.

Regards
