Rack-mount oscilloscopes are available. I saw the Exeltech one there the year before. At a throw of the switch you could see the ugly looking grid wave form, and then go back and check out the really clean Exeltech wave form.

I have a small Exeltech for portable purposes and love it.

By the way, the MX series is soon to have battery charger modules and lot of other neat goodies.
