Making your own cells is really expensive... and almost impossible, since
it requires specialized equipment...but... you can find bargains out
there...
and PV panels prices are coming down... In the 70's solar cells sold for
$200 a watt....now days, Photowatt sells for about $3.50 a watt... and
there is a new process out of Canada, that may cut that price in half....
