[pvusers] Solus/Sundanzer Refrigerators

Our propane refrigerator just died and the smell of ammonia makes me
think it isn't worth fixing. I've have been thinking of changing to an
electric fridge, so now is probably the time. I've been looking at the
various options, such as a SunFrost, or an energy efficient model form a
major manufacture, and came across the Solus/Sundanzer chest-style DC
refrigerators and freezers. They look perfect for my needs, but I am not
familiar with them. Does anyone have any experience with them? How is
their reliability? Are the power consumption numbers of 9 amp-hr/day for
the 8 cubic foot refrigerator and 36 amp-hr/day for the 8 cubic foot
freezer (12 volts and a 70 degree room) realistic?

Thanks
Paul
