Another Turbo Stove!
Dear All:
Kirk Smith asked...
>Do you know anything about this "turbo stove" It is being

I visited the site and WOW!
Neat site with 30 pictures of cooking fish to nuts in Africa (Sudan) on the African Turbo Stove.
First let me say that it bears NO relation to the CPC/BEF Turbo Stove which is a modern woodgas stove with a blower - hence the name "Turbo". But this appears to be a crude but effective stove for burning any old wood fuel and cooking many kinds of material. I hope Mr. Tapio (the inventor) will wish to join the CREST stove site.
It is made of stainless steel, needs to be assembled (without tools) and sells singly for $63 plus shipping. Quantity discounts available down to $24.90 for 6500 (a container load).
There has been a lot of talk about improved stoves here in the last 5 years, but this is a possible real advance available to many people. Don't underestimate the power of commercial action.
Comments?
Yours truly, TOM REED BEF STOVEWORKS
