Finnish Turbo Stove

Dear Stovers

I had a look at the Finnish Turbo Stove. It look a great deal like a
smaller version of the SS stove that was produced in Cape Town except it has
preheated secondary air - a notable lack on the CT version. On the other
hand I guess all small stoves look pretty much alike.

It appears to be a laser-cut sheet of 430SS that has all the nooks and
crannies so it can be rolled up and clicked together. Very nice piece of
work. Modern manufacturing process.

The side loading is a feature many people may like when doing a long slow
boil. Obviously it affects the performance because it lets in some cold air
but that may not be seen to be a major drawback if it burns most of the
smoke.

My thumb-suck estimate of its efficiency is 15-20% wood to pot.

Regards
Crispin
