Re: Juntos Stove pictures
Dear Paul
The can size you are using .... are they universally available?
I would like to understand your stove better.... when you posted on it
originally, did you have any sketches, or further info to enable me to
understand it beter?
As I understand it now, primary air enters through the bottom horizontal
pipe, and just above the the level where the pipe enters the fuel can, you
have a screen to act as a grate, and keep the fuel elevated off the bottom
of the "fuel can". (BTW..... what names do you use for various stove parts?)
What isn't clear in the picture, is how you would use it for cooking.
Picture 580
shows the stack in place, with flame coming out the top..... do you propose
to have a tripod of some sort, as a means of holding a container at slightly
above flame elevation?
Also, I don't understand the purpose of the box shown in photo 572.... is it
simply to support the fuel can? It seems to be a well made box, with
relatively expensive materials, and would likely add significantly to total
system cost.
How readily available are the cans you presently use, in the regions where
you wish to provide the stove? Would it be practical to consider the "fuel
can" as being consumable, to be replaced after 10 to 20 uses when it became
excessively scaled?
In your coming comments, could you please reconfirm your desired power
level, and the fuels you propose to use? Possibly, you could post a picture
of what you feel will be a typical fuel. (I think you posted this info in
previous messages, but I can't locate it easily
Your pictures are most helpful in understanding your stove system. The more
we can appreciate your objectives and constraints, the more helpful we can
be.
Kindest regards,
Kevin Chisholm
