Dear Stovers For those who are interested to know, there is a new type of hydrogen engine in development in South Africa which is about the size of a CPU for a desktop computer that puts out 130+ HP. It has resolved a lot of the inherent problems of using hydrogen in an internal combustion engine: like a very high flame speed and explosive firing rates. I think it must have an octane rating of about 1! (but I don't know). Anyway, viable internal combusion for mechanical power from a pretty common raw material is very good news. The engine is up and running.
