RE: History of very small true gasifier units

Richard and all,

This could be a stove of interest.  We await more info and the jpeg picture.

But I thought there was also a gasifier in Thailand, and that it might be horizontal.  ANYONE have info about it?   Or about other small gasifiers??

I'm on my way back to Kampala where I am based for the nextr several months. I had visited a forest department training center in NYABAYA and spoke with a one Richard Kisakye ("kisat-che"), the head of their biomass program, who showed me a gassifying stove with many samples of feed stock including vertically stacked straw. This is probably the mystery stove you are seeking info about. I will chase it up next week on return there.

Richard does not have email but I do have his phone contact and a jpeg of the stove which I can send along when I return.

Richard Stanley
