Hi Samantha,

Wherever the building is to be built -- check the costs of regular housing.  
Strawbale is about the same if not a tiny bit more expensive.  As Mark 
pointed out, walls are a very small amount, (about 20%) of an overall budget. 
 If your client (or you) will be doing some of the sweat equity, then of 
course the costs are less.  They would be the same proportion of "less" as in 
a conventional home.

The big thing to remember is to cost the things out in the area that you will 
be building.  Where I live, that cost is about $150 per square foot for an 
average building.  Down the road it is less.  Aspen is more.  

Anyway, sorry if it is confusing and you aren't getting the hard numbers you 
want, but I hope I helped.
