The box beams are so easy to put together, we generally do them on site. We leave the tops open until they are in place on the wall. This makes them lighter to lift, and allows us to overlap OSB skins at corners to lock the beams in place. We insulate with straw sometimes, and have blown in cellulose insulation, as well as fiberglass.

Have fun!
