In regard to your ICBO report number for the electrical boxes,  you need to 
get the manufacturer of the box and the product number.  Call the 
manufacturer to get the ICBO report number.  If they have one ask them to fax 
it to you, If not, find a box that does have one.

Inspectors are NOT required to supply that information.  Apparently your 
inspector does have his nose out of the code book and is trying to work with 
you.
