I concur with my fellow Aussie baler Gary not to use stucco wire, pinning or
sewing, provided of course that you will be using earthen or lime putty
renders. I would only use the stucco/render wire or chook wire as we call it
if you are using a cement based render mix.
I do not disagree with the replacement of gravel in the ladder plate bottom
plate system with something that has better insulation properties. It all
comes down to how cold your climate is. What would you propose using to
replace gravel?
I will have to buy a copy of serious srtraw bale soon as the cash flows again
in the right direction.
