straw bales

I am planning to build 2 straw bale structures this year and am looking
for suitable bales. Our building site is located in Amador County, east
of Sacramento and Stockton about 30 miles. I am building a post and
beam house designed by Stephen Kemble using 2 string bales and a
loadbearing garage using 3 string bales. In addition, I can pick up
bales anywhere within 120 miles or so. I am currently designing the
garage with an engineer, so I am looking for info on exact bale size.
Any information on bales, where and how much would be great.
