Re: SB: Lime Stucco - A Very Basic Primer, addendum

Well Homer, I never wanted to use the damn greenboard in the first
place. I wanted to do a lath and lime plaster. I wanted walls that
aren't straight as a board and traditional.

I tried some redwood lathing and didn't like the results, and was
eventually talked out of it for resale value on this house.(explaing
unusual products and really alternative methods is still an issue, even
though lime wasthe standard

and since I am not an expert plasterer (yet) i wasn't sure I could pull
off a beautiful wall.

the room sat in it's stud underwear for a long time while I debated.
it's months later now and I have had enough experince to know I can do a
decent job. The only options to greenboard and wall board is to paint
or wall paper them, and make them flat flat flat, which is to
conventional for me. If this goes really well I will plaster the
kitchen too, and tint the lime some gorgeous color!
