There has been a scam going on with solicitation about money
specifically from Nigeria for several years now. Many many businesses
have shipped computers, etc based on fradulent Letters of credit, etc.
the scam keeps changing, but it is always Nigeria.  Several clinets of
mine in high tech were always on the alert back in the late 80's early
90's.

Seems a shame the whole country is getting a bad rep for this, but so it
is, sort of a foreign ponzi scheme ( ie deposit money to show good
faith, to get big money, etc)
