Those who have some remaining, functioning brain cells
may remember that some time ago, it was suggested that this
List put its collective heads together and develop workable
design details that would enable anyone to retrofit an
energy-sieve, tornado-bait, mobile home into a safe, energy-
efficient, inexpensive home.

In the time that has elapsed since then, several more queries
have appeared both on and off-list expressing a desire to
attack such a project and wondering how to go about it.

I still think that it is a Good Idea and Worthwhile Thing
for this List to do but unfortunately, I know next to
nothing about mobile homes.

I think that a good place to start would be for a stakeholder
to volunteer to archive all of the messages relating to such a
thread and keep them in a place on the web where they are
readily accessible. The website should also be able to
handle uploading and downloading of images . (Or somesuch)

Then I think that it would be useful to have some specs on
mobile homes... ie of what and how they are made, how much
they weigh etc. If someone has access to a manufacturer's
cut-away sketch that could be posted, that would probably
be helpful.

Then it would probably be useful to identify the potentials for
catastrophe so that means of avoidance may be developed.

Then the rest should be easy. Right ?
