SB: Re: Danish SB studio
Greetings Mette! :)
Thank you for responding to my inquiry. I remember visiting
and studying the site with great interest and enthusiasm a
while back. I was impressed with the excellent
documentation and creativity that went into the project. The
studio is beautiful!
Not understanding the language, I have many unanswered
questions. I find the oven and roof particularly intriguing.
Can you explain how the oven is vented? Is it vented out the
side and top of the building? Do you know how the building
is holding up? I wonder if they would have done anything
differently. I don't understand how they finished the roof,
what is the topmost layer or covering? Has it held up well
against the elements?
We have terrible tornadoes, strong gale force winds, intense
heat and drought in the Summer, and extremely wet seasons
here. We had a tremendously costly ice storm in December
that left several inches of ice on everything, breaking down
trees and power lines. It seems that extreme weather is the
norm here, thus, my concern.
Is it possible to obtain a copy of the video? I am able to
view the video clips on my PC, but they are very small, and
therefore difficult to see. I would gladly cover any
expenses.
Again, thank you very much, Mette, for your response. :)
I apologize to the SBL for jumping off topic.
