Re: SB: Window sills

Hi, you might want to visit the Buddy Rhodes site
http://www.BuddyRhodes.com/welcome2.html

this guy casts anything from cement, tables, counters, furniture, etc,
very artistically.

Also at Today's Homeowner online, you can find info on casting your own
cement counters for kithen & bath, the sills will be a smaller version.

in addition, a Tufastone type material, which is sand peat moss and
cement can be cast in place too ( I haven't done it yet on sills tho)
and you can achieve an old stone look , plus shape the edges smooth or
rough, color the sills etc. do a search for Hyper tufa, there is lots
of info out there. I also have a small booklet on Tufa stone recipes
(cement & cement free) and methds, $5. but you can find several online
articles especially cement counters, try that first.
